Likes:
  1. I really liked it's sound quality and the bass was nice. It is not that great like the other high-end headphones but it sounds good enough in listening music and movies on your TV or other gadgets which is pretty nice for a cheap headphone. At high volume it didn't get any much distortion and sounded clear.

2. Using it on your TV is quite pretty good because of it's 6 meter cable, so you wouldn't have a problem sitting faraway while watching some movie or TV shows and as long it doesn't reach more than 6 meters.

     3.   While sitting away, you can also control the volume which is included on the cable of the headphone. So you don't have to look for the remote and change its volume.

 4. Lastly, I like that it has 2 options for the audio adapter. A 6.3 and a 3.5 mm adapter. I use the 6.3 mm every time I practice on my electric guitar and I don't want to disturb others. I just plug it on the audio out of my guitar amplifier. Another great thing about is you can just remove the 6.3 mm adapter to have the 3.5 mm and use it on your phone, laptop or tablet.

Other headphones have 2 different cables with different adapter plug which is kind a hassle on my part.

Dislikes:
  1. The material and build doesn't feel like its sturdy and feels fragile. Someone with a heavy hand or recklessly putting it on without adjusting the headbands will break this headphone easily. It feels very much plastic and doesn't look that good if you usually wear headphones on public and use it.
  2. The ear pads is soft but long usage itches the back of my ears, which is irritating.
  3. The long 6 m cable is troublesome if you don't tie it up properly as it will tangle up on you.
  4. It doesn't have its own packaging, so traveling with it is not recommended.
  5. Volume is quite low and you would have to increase the volume of your device almost up to maximum so you can hear it better.
  6. It doesn't have a noise isolation feature which I didn't like because I like being isolated from the outside noise which is just my preference.

Conclusion:

Philips SHP2500 headphones sounded great for a cheap headphone but if your looking for mobility, this headphones are not for you. This is recommended only for usage at home and mostly on your TV or laptop. Overall, I would say this is a quite nice headphone for home usage only because of its very long cable and also nice for guitar amplifiers or other instrument amplifiers.
